A Project Management Tool for Web Agencies

Rockety was built by people who have worked in web dev agencies - we get it.

When we worked in agencies, we were frustrated with the project management tools available. They were either too complicated, not powerful enough, or just straight up confusing.

We wanted to build a platform that is easy for anyone to use (technical or not), but also powerful enough to manage really complex projects. We wanted to blend in concepts from Agile, Scrum, and Kanban, but not be limited to any one of them. No one agency works the same way - hell, no one project works the same way. That's why we built a platform that is easy to use, but also powerful enough to manage really complex projects.

Create spaces in Rockety for your projects and teams. Invite your team and clients to collaborate in the same space.

Here are the top ten features we built with you in mind:

1

Powerful task management

Task management is the core of what Rockety does, so you'd imagine we do it pretty well. Create tasks, set their priorities, set due dates, assign them to team members, assign them to goals and set their status with a drag and a drop.

2

Time tracking

We have time tracking natively built in. You can track time on tasks with a stop watch, or you can log time manually. You can also set time estimates on tasks, and see how much time has been logged against them. As a manager, you can see how much time tasks and projects are taking against how much time you estimated they would take.

3

Cost tracking (this is a big one!)

Not only can you track time, but you can also track costs. You can set a cost per hour for each team member, and see how much time they have logged against tasks. This means you can see how much each task is costing you, and how much each project is costing you. You can also assign budgets to tasks and projects, and see how much of the budget has been spent and where you're over- and under-spending.

4

Set project goals, milestones, phases... whatever you want to call them

Create your goals. Assign tasks to those goals, see how much progress you're making against them. Goals help you group tasks together and work towards completing those goals.

5

Use sprints to manage your tasks within timeframes

Use sprints to group tasks into timeframes like weekly, fortnightly, or monthly chunks. Ideal for agile teams, but flexible enough to work however you do. Sprints help your agency stay focused, track what’s in progress, and plan what’s coming up next.

6

Store all your files and assets for your project in one place

When you store your project assets in Rockety, every team member in that project can access them. You can create folders, upload files, and even link to files stored in other places, like a Google Doc or Figma design. Being in the cloud, all your files are also backed up and secure.

7

Use File Sharing to share files with clients and contractors

You can securely send files externally with Rockety. You can also add notes and expiry dates to your file sharing links, so they're only accessible for as long as they need to be. You can share files for sign off, share files with contractors to help them do their work, or share files with clients to get feedback.

8

Task Forms can replace your support ticketing system

With Task Forms, you can create a public form that your clients can fill out. When the form is submitted, a task is created in a project in Rockety. You can create an inbox to vet incoming requests, and then assign them to team members. We've seen Task Forms used to create support ticket systems, feature requests, waiting lists.. and so much more.

9

Stagnancy Indicators let you see how long tasks are sat waiting

Stagnancy Indicators can let you see how long tasks have been sat waiting to be picked up, or how long they've been sat on a certain status. This is a great way to see if tasks are going stale and to make sure tasks aren't sat waiting for too long.

10

Powerful reporting on your projects and the tasks within them

Create reports on task statuses, cost tracking, stagnancy, sprint velocity, and so much more. We're constantly adding new reports to Rockety, and we're always open to suggestions on what you want to see. You can also create custom reports using our API.
