Accurately track time spent on tasks with Time Tracking and Timesheets

Time tracking in Rockety is built-in from the start - no add-ons, no extensions, no extra costs. Whether you need to bill clients by the hour, understand where your team's time is going, or simply keep yourself accountable, Rockety's time tracking has you covered.

Track time your way

There are two ways to track time in Rockety:

Use the stopwatch - Start a timer when you begin working on a task, pause it when you take a break, and stop it when you're done. The time is automatically logged against the task.

Log time manually - Prefer to log your time at the end of the day? Simply enter the hours and minutes you spent on each task. This is perfect for those who find timers distracting or who work across multiple tasks throughout the day.

See where your time is going

Time tracking isn't just about billing - it's about understanding. Rockety gives you clear visibility into how time is being spent across your projects:

  • Per task - See how much time has been logged against individual tasks
  • Per project - Understand how much time each project is consuming
  • Per team member - See how your team's time is distributed
  • Per time period - Generate reports for any date range

Generate timesheets

Need to submit timesheets for approval or billing? Rockety can generate detailed timesheets showing all logged time, broken down by project, task, and team member. Export them as needed for your invoicing or payroll processes.

Set time estimates

You can set estimated time on tasks to help with planning. As time is logged, you'll see at a glance whether you're on track or running over. This is invaluable for improving your estimation skills and managing client expectations.

Integrates with Cost Tracking

When combined with Cost Tracking, time tracking becomes even more powerful. Set hourly rates for team members and watch as project costs are calculated automatically based on logged time. Understand not just where time is going, but what it's costing you.
