Get notified in Slack when tasks are created, updated or completed
Channel Notifications in Rockety let you send messages to a Slack channel whenever tasks are created, updated or completed. This helps keep your team informed about project progress and ensures everyone is on the same page.
This also works when tasks are created from the public Task Form, or sent in via email using Email-to-Task, even when the task is created by a client or external user, so you can keep your team informed about new tasks from any source.
How to set up Channel Notifications
1. Setting up an integration
Channel Notifications output to an external service, like Slack, so the first step is to set up an integration. You can do this by going to your organisation settings, and then clicking on "Integrations".
Right now, the only integration available is Slack, but we're working on adding more integrations in the future.
2. Enable Channel Notifications for a project
Once you've set up an integration, you can enable Channel Notifications for a project. To do this, go to the project settings, and then click on "Channel Notifications".
Channel Notifications are enabled on a project-by-project basis, so you can choose which projects you want to receive notifications for. For each type of notification, you can choose to enable or disable it, and you can also choose which Slack channel you want the notifications to be sent to.
